The new virtual office of the 21st century is no longer confined to four walls of an edifice.
The office is now a device that is carried in a pocket. If a business concept saw this shift early on, officeLOCALE Coworking Space and Cyerscraper jumped on it to provide an all-encompassing revolutionary business solution for small businesses coming in the very near future, worldwide.
The basic question that the management of this coworking space asked its customers was, "What really is a company?"
A variety of answers from those customers, like "it’s an office building with cubicles and furniture," or "a group of people working together to make money" or "just a name of a place of business," came quickly without much effort of thought.
The answer that officeLOCALE's management came up with and worked on the concept of the new office space was that a company is nothing more than a perception.
A perception created by an individual or a group to appear to exist as a physical entity. Nothing more.
This is true of companies that are big or small. What is FedEx or Amazon?
One is a delivery truck with packages inside it, the other a bookstore...or a shopping plaza existing somewhere or something like that.
What about XYZ's Shipping service or a strip mall like Park Oaks Shopping Center housing local business vendors in a city like Thousand Oaks, California?
Isn't these two entities the same as what FedEx and Amazon are and offer?
Same goes with Printing service, or Notary Public service, or shredding services...
What creates that perception as a physical entity in the eyes of clients to give a company its official turf in the market?
The answer lies in the marketing effort of a company to create that perception of giving a company its "officialdom" in the bazaar by gaining the client's trust.
It takes a very large marketing budget to industrialize the human brain. Without that perception created for the eyes of the clients, they see no company in existence.
The client will only trust the company that markets itself the most, no matter even if it is garbage to dispose of.
The traditional mass of mankind from the last century is trained to trust the loud speaker and a facade of an edifice regardless of who is in there.
They only look at the logo before buying gasoline, coffee, printing, shipping, clothing or anything as a trustworthy factor in their purchasing habit. There may be a million new businesses and people offering newer or better shredding services around but nothing "official" or "trustworthy" appears about them in the eyes of that mass.
The few years of internet however, has redefined that perception and is changing it at mind numbing speed.
The new "office" is no longer utilized in a sunk foundation of an edifice.
The mobile computer device has made Mobility the new normal and Stability its indisposable and crucial tail end.
Short term office space like hourly conference rooms, meeting spaces, live phone receptionists, websites, on demand printing is what an office is comprised of. It’s no longer a long term lease to start a business. Rather, it’s more sensible to anchor a company at a place like officeLOCALE Coworking and Cyberscraper and create the perception of your company without going broke and thinking traditionally. Afterall, hasn't business always been to buy low and sell high in order to stay in business?
